Imagine 2 English towns of similar populations to Coleraine & Dungannon in a Wembley final - bus companies booked out & extra trains put on. 2/3 full at Wembley = over 3 times full at Windsor. @ConnaireMcG Largely agree, but having seen Crusaders many times this season, including last night against Carrick, I reckon they could be in the play-off if they don't improve on consistency.

As we prepare for the new year I always look at the footy tables. Hard to see Larne not go on to win now. Glenavon down and Ballymena in play off. Think top 6 set and Glens finish 2nd. All pure guess work but sure that’s why we love football.

Most grounds need better toilets, catering & PA systems. 3G pitches are generating revenue for clubs that have them. If public funds were spent on a 3G pitch a club would be more sustainable.

Big crowds on Friday nights. 1st v 3rd. League champs. Etc. we don’t have the crowds. Honesty. NIFF developing big shiny new stands is a waste of limited public funds. We need to build the game up through participation to have a future.

AMBUTRAN is at Seaview this afternoon for the match between Crusaders and Dungannon Swifts, the first ever Irish Premier League match to have a female referee. Well done, Louise Thompson.

AMBUTRAN'S first Premier League match of 2025 was Crusaders v Larne last night. Unfortunately our client, Crusaders, lost.

AMBUTRAN's second Irish Cup tie of the weekend is at Solitude, where Premier League Cliftonville are hosting Mid-Ulster Intermediate League side, Banbridge Rangers. The junior side have brought a good amount of supporters who are in full voice, although currently trailing 1 - 0.

The Irish Cup weekend for AMBUTRAN kicked off last night with the East Belfast Championshop v Premiership Derby between H&W Welders and Glentoran.

Regent House has schools cup, seconds cup, and medallion bowl fixtures in the next few weeks, so they ended the holidays and started their preparations for the 3 teams with matches yesterday against Ballyclare High School.

Some walked, some ran, and some raced, but who cares how they did it. The important thing was that the participants were all raising valuable funds for the fight against cancers at today's Jog On Cancer event at Lurgan Park.

Ambutran's first schools' rugby matches of the New Year were today at Campbell College, where there were 2 senior matches against Clongowes Wood and 2 junior matches against Bangor Grammar.

@ConnaireMcG @OfficialNIFL @Gerardlawlor75 No matter what prixe fund there is for any competition the rich will get richer until the prize fund is split right down to the opening rounds. £5K for knocked out in R1 would be a significant boost to lower level clubs.

If we have to spend £428K should the tender at least not be limited to NI firms instead of sending £428K public funds out of the NI economy?

478 thousand - £478,000. That’s how much @CommunitiesNI and Minister @gordonlyons1 is spending reviewing the alcohol licence surrender legislation. Unbelievable amount of money at this time. Let’s face it, any change to it will cost millions and risks a fragile sector
