@iShieldMaiden_ Should have kept it PvP and they should have made it more comp. Now everyone is gonna want a cryo every 3 months which they can’t deliver. And with the PvP they do have, there’s a clear and hard meta. I don’t think the game lives past 2 years. It’ll be fun while it lasts tho

@iShieldMaiden_ Don’t get me wrong it’s fun. But they have royally fucked up by making it destiny 2: the extraction shooter. Plays nice, power fantasy, but there is zero balance in this game at a high level. They’re trying to sneak PvE in with cryo which is a massive death sentence 1/2

This is what's hard. Im genuinely asking the pvp sphere - how do you keep casuals interested in a game where the rich get richer? The better you are, the more you win, the more you win, the better the gear, where do casuals fit?

@th3jmanx As much as I love destiny as a franchise, it’s D3 or bust. Destiny 2 as a game had long overstayed its welcome by lightfall, and TFS was the perfect launchpad. Either they make D3 and bring hundreds of thousands back to the franchise or they let it rot. No in between imo

It's been incredible being addicted to Marathon and gaming with the bros, but it is a bit wild how whatever was left of Destiny completely fell off the face of the Earth. With Marathon being the shiny new toy, is there anything left to save D2? I think it's D3 or bust!

@GuapoGary_ The problem with D2 exotics is they became more about marketing than mystery. We used to not know every exotic coming, and they were random drops. That’s the key. Think about how rare an exotic engram still is in D2. Yet we get every exotic from a questline now

The type of progression systems PvP games use and terraria use have always been entirely different. “You should not have to play to unlock movement” is a valid complaint

@SaltagreppoD2 @Pat_Varda_002 Terraria is one of the most beloved and best selling games and it's entire point is to start from nothing and gain insane power progression through hours of play. You're playing an entirely different game in the end. Marathon uses the same formula. It's not bad design

While my first impression was fairly average, Marathon is definitely a game that grows on your the more you play it, but I’m still not sure why it’s designed so you need to get upgrades to make it feel playable. Like, the lv1 stamina bar has to make people quit 30 mins in lol.

@kaitarcher @ToastFPS OK advice here except for the 2k calories a day part. You could need less in order to be in a deficit. Or you could have a couple hundred extra🤷🏻‍♂️ look up a TDEE calc and see what your resting maintenance calories are. Shave 500 off that and boom that’s your weight loss number

I have a very genuine question for people who have gone from overweight/out of shape to fit. Where do you start???? I want to start running but the thought of even jogging a minute down the road sounds daunting as hell. I want to lose weight and just become healthier, more fit and in shape. I just don’t know where to start. I have already started walking a little consistently both on a treadmill and outside. I also have started a stretch and balance (basically yoga/pilates) weekly. But I want to RUN. I want to have the energy and the stamina to be able to run miles. I just can’t figure out where I need to go from here. If anyone has any advice on this I would really appreciate the motivation and help 🥹

@MuItimach I mean honestly? I don’t want to sit at my PC to play these games, I have both an authentic cart and a flash cart, but sometimes my GBA is a bit cumbersome to play on. This can be played on my couch or in bed, the screen is bigger and nicer looking, I’ll gladly pay for this🤷🏻‍♂️
