The Red Bull is 20 kg heavier compared to the Alpine and 19 kg heavier compared to the McLaren. The Red Bull currently weighs 798.5 kg (Excluding fuel) (minimum driver weight 82 kg) This explains the high deg and lack of pace (Spotted by @MaxleclercVerst))

@FDataAnalysis Mate, perhaps I didint get everything right, but are you sure less super-clipping is good? Look at Mercedes - they're having a big one. And yet they're the best. Big super-clipping = good harvesting, as I see it.

Mercedes has the best #F1 PU - Period No PU got close to it from T3 to T13. RBPT, the other PU of the 'Compression ratio' saga, is 2nd best Audi did produce a good PU, unlike Honda. Beware of Ferrari: the team had battery software issues in Q2 and Q3, but BEA (the next quickest Ferrari-powered driver) had the least clipping! Clipping is massive: cars lose ~50km/h ***on full throttle***! Ferrari needs the rotating rear wing to work (and wait for the 1st June updated PU testing procedures) to fight on the straights. Their downforce is encouraging: look at the speed in the fast T6! [Considering each PU's quickest lap]

Here is the innovative wing tested by Ferrari on Day 2 of testing in Bahrain. This new specification allows the two upper flaps to rotate up to almost 270 degrees. To achieve this, the team structurally modified the wing by removing the central pylon, integrating the system into the two lateral endplates, and reshaping the third flap. #f1 #F1Tech #F1Testing #F12026 #ferrari #car #design

⚙️Gear usage analysis 🚥Throttle and Brake Analysis Attraverso l'elaborazione dei migliori tempi realizzati da Leclerc, Verstappen, Russell e Norris nell'ultima giornata di test in Bahrain si evincono interessanti evidenze in merito all'utilizzo dei rapporti, dell'acceleratore e del freno. Si evidenzia uno scenario totalmente diverso rispetto alla precedente generazione di Power Unit che sta obbligando i piloti a rimodellare la tecnica di guida. そう見て間違いないと思います。 以前のマシンはコークボトル型のサイドポッドがなくても、アンダーフロアのエアトンネル(グラウンドエフェクト構造)によってフロアの密閉率を維持できていました。 (だから去年までのアンダーフロアは、上から下へと真っ直ぐ下るダウンウォッシュ形状が主流だった。コークボトルラインは、あまり重要視されてなかったらしい。因みにキャデラックは、その去年までのトレンドに何故か乗っかっている。) しかし今年からは、再びフラットボトム構造の、真っ平らなアンダーフロアへと戻った事で、何も対策しないと、アンダーフロア両端を流れる空気がフロア内へと潜り込んで密閉率を維持できなくなってしまいます。 そのため、ボディ上面を流れる空気を内側に引き込む事で、アンダーフロア内に乱流が入らないようにしてフロアの密閉率を維持し、ダウンフォース効率及び安定性をを高めるという事なのです。 (このほか、マウスホールとの相性が良い、などの理由もあるが、敢えてここでは深掘りしない。) #f1jp #F12026 #f1の空力メモ
