Synthetic and whole food vitamin C are chemically identical. But that's where the similarities end. Most synthetic vitamin C is derived from GMO corn and contaminated with glyphosate. They also often contain fillers and other unnecessary ingredients. Whole food vitamin C is single ingredient. Full of phytochemicals, cofactors, and micronutrients that enhance how the vitamin C is absorbed and used. Synthetic vitamin C might dominate the market, but whole food sources are the answer.
