If you discover that some kind of evidence is bad, the logical thing to do is to downgrade all your beliefs that were based on that kind of evidence, but in practice that’s a LONG PROCESS because you can’t just pull up a spreadsheet of your beliefs and see what they were based on

@josh_m Yeah only USA right now. I was personally aware of the interest with that and so it was pretty specific. I need to make a generic one like you mentioned. btw, I use the Statue of Liberty icon in popup that shows immigrants to USA. What would be corresponding one for Australia?

@ScottAukerman just watched season one again last night - 100% agree. Doing a part where you are an actor who gives authentically inconsistent performances as the actor character has got to be a challenge - there are so many levels to that.

I have to say, Sarah Goldberg gave the best performance I saw in maybe ever in that show Barry
