As I sit waiting for yet another delayed #britishairways flight …
I ruminate ….as a large proportion of the flights I take with this , entitled legacy airline are delayed for technical faults on the plane ..
Is their fleet in a terrible condition, compared to other airlines who don’t have the same amount of faults ..

Small story. I once drove to North Wales with Stephen Dorrell. One of his children had recently been sick in his car, so the entire journey was infused with the scent of vomit. He was a lovely guy though, and highly intelligent.

'Wes Streeting has played this right.' @stephen_dorrell agrees that meningitis outbreak policies should be 'guided by evidence and expert advice, not a politician's kneejerk response'.

This was inevitable after ruinous anti small business first budget. I have goodwill towards this government but will never change my mind that Reeves is a disaster who cannot comprehend businesses and their role in the economy. By placing all of the 2024 tax hikes on employers…

As the Kent meningitis outbreak dominates the public conversation, a petition on Change.org demanding the NHS extend the MenB vaccine to 16–23 year olds has surged past 43,000 signatures, reigniting a year-long campaign to close a coverage gap that a grieving mother says cost her son his life.
Marissa Mullans from Manchester launched her petition in October 2024, following the death of her son Alfie the previous year, aged just 18. "Many teenagers and young adults missed out simply because they were born too early," she says.

Pressure is growing on the Health Secretary to take action.
