I vote yes on this wonderful project. Every day, Mr. Smith posts pictures of young people who take on this challenge to serve their communities. It is absolutely heartwarming. They are all adorable. There are even teens who take on the challenge.
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
There’s NO valid argument against the SAVE America Act.
My bill would make it easy to vote.
And hard to cheat.
As soon as DHS is fully funded (as it should be within 48 hours), the Senate should resume consideration of it—and stay on the bill until it passes.
Pass it on.
A core responsibility of any representative government is to enforce the rule of law.
Democrats abandoned this responsibility years ago, and it’s why they want to abolish ICE and reward illegal aliens.
Republicans believe in the rule of law. Democrats don’t.
Today’s floor votes will demonstrate a clear difference between the parties. Republicans want to fund law enforcement so officers have the tools and resources they need to protect our communities. Democrats want to defund law enforcement to appease their far-left base.
I know which side the American people are on.
California is going to take 37 days to count 9 million mail in ballots with 0 of the voters showing ID.
This is totally fine with John Thune.
Think about that.
@ProudElephant Should have never been created in the first place. Another stupid idea from Jimmy Carter. Reagan wanted to abolish it, but couldn‘t get Congressional traction. Sound familiar?
@Mike_Pence How’d that work out for us, Mikey? Believing and doing are two different things. You and the Bushies only succeeded in killing and maiming a bunch of people and bankrupting us. Limited government, indeed.
Many Americans are confused about what it means to be a conservative.
That's why I wrote What Conservatives Believe
We believe in limited government, free market economics, strong defense, American leadership in the world, and traditional values.
@MarshaBlackburn Could’ve fooled us. We’ve been watching who’s been doing what on the SAVE America Act. We’ve seen no concrete action from you. You and your friends only MOUTH THE DOGMA. That doesn’t secure you a place in election heaven. Quite the opposite.
cc: @SenateGOP
Every single state in America should partner with DHS through the SAVE Program to clean up their voter rolls and stop illegals from voting.
I will not rest until we secure our elections.

While we’re all focused on Steve Hilton, Xavier Becerra, Karen Bass, and Spencer Pratt…Scott Wiener has won the primary for Nancy Pelosi’s seat.
Wiener reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor the crime for knowingly infecting someone with HIV, and removed the automatic requirement to register someone on the sex offender list for having sex with a minor if the age difference was less than 11 years (24 and 14 is OK for Scott Wiener)
@Mike_Pence@BillHemmer Your brand of conservatism believes in caving to the left routinely instead of fighting. It gave us the Surrender Caucus. No thanks.
@Jim_Jordan Oh, boy, here we go. The letters have gone out. A Jim Jordan letter stokes utter fear in crazed leftists, donchaNO. How are those impeachments going, Jimbo?
@JohnCornyn@WSJopinion I see you are not going to leave the Senate with dignity. You have decided to go foaming-at-the-mouth scorched-earth anti-Trump ugly. Texans suspected this is who you really were and rejected you. Now Texas voters know they were right.
U.S. taxpayers have claimed $82 billion in tax relief from policies enacted within the Republican reconciliation package Congress cleared last summer, according to the Treasury Department. @politico
