Today my hand has been cramping a bit, so instead of working on my projects I made a quick doodle of myself to test a more rough single layer approach to drawing. I feel I learned a lot about my brush settings so I am very pleased and excited to think about future projects ^^

Recently I was blessed to be asked to draw a birthday gift for someone. I had quite a lot of fun with it, drawing different materials and practicing some changes in my technique. I am humbled and very thankful for the learning opportunities I get in life ^^

My favorite part about people getting mad at me is watching other people tell them to stop drawing attention to me cause I just win in the end

My wife came from a past of promiscuity. I had kept myself pure as a virgin. Then, in the mercy of Hashem, she experienced a radical teshuvah — a true turning of the heart back to God. She became deeply committed to walking in His ways: constantly speaking of His Torah and His goodness, filling her days with prayer and study, keeping a journal of her tefillot and her sorrow over past sins, and striving for kedushah (holiness) in every area of life. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, and were engaged for two and a half months — all while guarding our boundaries and not sinning sexually with one another. Our first kiss was under the chuppah on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We have now been married for over five years. She has been the most wonderful, godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker one could ask for. In many ways, she is more tahor (pure) than many who have never stumbled, because true biblical purity is not only about what happened in the past — though those sins are serious and require real repentance — but even more about the present posture of the heart and the daily choice to walk in fear of Heaven and obedience to Hashem (see Tehillim 24:3-4 and 51:10). We are often too quick to forget the power of genuine teshuvah. Think of the woman in the Gospels who was known as a public sinner (likely one who had lived a life of sexual immorality). She came weeping before Yeshua, washing His feet with her tears and kissing them. The Pharisees were scandalized that a holy teacher would allow such a person to touch Him. But Yeshua responded with a parable about two debtors and their creditor, and He concluded with these powerful words: "Her many sins have been forgiven — that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone loves to celebrate the beauty and blessing of remaining a virgin until marriage — and it truly is a precious gift from Hashem. But we sometimes forget to celebrate the even greater wonder of one who has been forgiven much. My wife has tasted the depths of Hashem’s chesed (lovingkindness) and forgiveness in a profound way. Because she knows how far she was lifted out of the pit, her love for her Redeemer burns with a special fire and passion. That deep gratitude flows into how she loves God, loves me, and loves our family. A person’s past sexual sin does matter. It is not to be minimized. But when it comes to choosing a spouse, what matters far more is this: Is this person truly born again? Has their teshuvah been real and lasting? Do they have a wholehearted love for the God of Israel? Do they walk in His ways, keep His commandments, and seek to live a life of kedushah? As it is written: “God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in His presence. It is from Him that you are in Messiah Yeshua, who became for us wisdom from God — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption — in order that, as it is written: ‘Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.’” (1 Corinthians 1:27-31) And: “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see — the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) Baruch Hashem for the transforming power of His forgiveness and for making all things new.
