@FOX29philly Store unwashed strawberries in a Mason jar in the back of the fridge. Take out what you want and wash them at that time. They will last for a couple of weeks.

@raykellyfitness I cut out bread, pasta, rice, processed foods, dairy except for yogurt and my psoriasis cleared up.

My son (5yo) has a range of allergies and we are looking to remove wheat and dairy from his diet for a month. Dinners are easy, but any suggestions for kid friendly and lunchbox friendly breakfasts and lunches?

BEFORE/AFTER I found these chairs that I absolutely loved, but I hated the leg color and how light they were. It didn't deter me from buying them. I knew I could stain them any color I wanted. Dark American Walnut it is.

@DoctorTro I used these when I first diagnosed with T2. It was invaluable to me to learn about foods and their effect on my BS. Unfortunately my insurance has decided not to cover it anymore. 😞

@copymethat @tim_cook #Apple #copymethat @tim_cook. Please reinstate the Cooy Me That app to the App Store. It is one of my favorites and I lost it when I had to upgrade my phone. The App always gives credit to the web site that the recipe came from, which is very useful in itself. Best recipe app!

My daughter has suffered from eczema since being a toddler & we have absolutely noticed a relationship to food. At school her eczema would be in CONSTANT flare, now at home with solid nutrition her eczema is COMPLETELY gone... Clearly, this is completely observational.

Would you want a BMI of 25? 🤔 But, that body comes with 3 different autoimmune conditions? 😱 I reach for my ultimate weapon of total elimination diet, better known as carnivore diet 😁 Wish me luck @SBakerMD @KetoCarnivore @GeorgiaEdeMD

With all due respect, please learn about these things called randomized controlled trials. We have 70 of them, all showing that low carb is superior to pretty much every other diet out there. In the end, science is not about theory. It's about what really works.

@AmyDee1001 @ChrisPalmerMD sorry do not agree. Dr Palmer: please learn the different types of carbs: fiber, starch, sugar, non-starchy vegetables vs. starchy veggies. Explain why glycemic index is important. Thanks for going. gisymbol.com/about-glycemic…

For those that wanted a more in depth explanation about the estimated change in beta-cell function, as well as what a more accurate assessor would be, I wrote this new article: lchf-rd.com/2020/01/21/a-d…

I now officially have normal FBG, HbA1c, BP, waist circumference and weight and have gone from 33% beta cell function (#T2D for 8 years) to 98% since being in #remission. I chose to do it #lowcarb based on the evidence. Everyone is different, there is no one-sized-fits-all diet.

@joannagaines For Christmas last year I gave my kids recipes books with all of their favorite recipes hand written. They loved it!

She just wings it every time and every time it's my favorite. So I cleared my schedule and sat and watched her every move and wrote it all down. It feels like such a gift to finally have these recipes of my mom’s on paper, all written out.

For years I've wanted to write down my mom's full holiday meal that she has made since I was little. It has always been hard for her to just give me the recipe because she cooks "to taste" so nothing is ever written down or measured.

There should be a store where I could go to have a group of puppies swarm me; no appointment needed. I would name this place Happiness
