One of my grandmothers lost her arm in a laundry accident. It was incredible how little it inconvenienced her!

@cave_frog Old washing machines didn’t have the safety mechanisms they have now. She was doing laundry and wasn’t paying attention (adhd and autism run in the family) and when she stuck her arm in the clothes rotating around caught her arm and ripped it apart/off.
