Never took it for granted people were gracious enough to invite me into their homes for 32 years, 28 in SE WI. Blew me away some said I became family. As a WI kid I worked hard & cared about the community, but that time is ending. Thank you for allowing me to live a dream:

@NicoleCrowell00 @TaylorHoliday Agreed. The other thing I didn't see is WHY this sample was fasting. A sample may be more likely to try fasting if they already had health issues, compared to control. (Correlation not causation) Randomizing two samples would be better.

Sample size is solid, no problems there. With self reporting it can be sufficient but with nutritional studies I think the data needs to be more rigorous. Whether it’s cholesterol, a glass of wine or “all fats are bad” these conclusions are made on studies of similar quality and we end up having to backtrack over & over again. I just don’t think people are reliable when it comes to their eating habits. I would need more studies done that are not based off of a survey data to make any adjustments personally Call me skeptical but if you’re going to make a bold claim like this you best have solid proof and I’m just not seeing a concrete study done. Give it a few days for the scientific community to rip this one apart 😂

So intermittent fasting is linked to a 91% increase in heart disease now??? Pros and cons of the study? (other than those listed in the article around self reporting)
