@RyanDay2China If Day allows them to push the tempo, Arthur Smith will be more than good enough and Ohio State will have an elite high-flying offense. If Day forces slow tempo again it will be a better scheme and operation, but similar to last season production on that side

my problem with Flagg vs Kon debates is Flagg fans saying “all Kon does is shoot better” when he’s been the BEST shooter in the NBA this year, also only minimizing his game to “just a shooter” is so disingenuous

@tigersslab @sponhourm Shooting matters a lot and he’s been the best shooter in the league this season. Contributed to winning, much more efficient, has played 11 more games. Flagg averages just 2 more ppg with Kon having less volume and usage. He has had a better season.

I’m a progressive politically on most issues but I I still haven’t seen any data that would suggest the reason Kamala Harris lost is that she wasn’t far left enough on policy She was in fact **perceived** as too far left & as being too preoccupied with social issues

@B1G_Ryan @AthletesInSpace And yet she still would have been a far better alternative than what we got as a result instead.

@AthletesInSpace People don’t decouple perception of “far left” on idpol issues vs economic ones. She wasn’t far left enough on the latter and that all polls very well. She largely lost because of Gaza, economic conditions, and perception of Dems as do-nothings. She offered nothing ppl wanted

@Jared_NFLDraft Respect the take. Top 10 is bold for me but really like him and would be a good pick for Carolina

I’m banking on the flashes and a smart DC to put him at the 3-tech and cut him loose. Top-10 player on my board.

I’m going to remain a believer in Peter Woods as a first-round talent and DT1 in this class and won’t be swayed at this point in the process.

@buzzcitybridge @Out_of_Hornets He made one wide open 3 and immediately decided the next touch he got was going to be a heat check. Then bricked

The less miles touches the ball the better. He should only touch it via mismatches

@WashedReceiver @AthletesInSpace Ok let me ask you a hypothetical. Which game do you think OSU would be more likely to lose to a lesser opponent? - a game where each team gets two offensive possessions - a game where each team gets 20 offensive possessions

@clark______ @AthletesInSpace Explosive rate is more important than “total explosives”. I don’t see how going faster would’ve changed that. We can be honest and say the offense wasn’t good enough. Whether we went fast or slow, it would’ve gotten exposed.

I have bad news for Ohio State fans though - based upon answers provided in Ryan Day and Arthur Smith’s press appearances this spring, the slowed play style and heavy sets aren’t going anywhere

@clark______ @AthletesInSpace You can still get the same result with the slow pace of play. At the end of the day, both styles rely on generating explosives. Do you think if we played faster last year, we would’ve generated more explosives? I don’t think so.

@WashedReceiver @AthletesInSpace If you play fast you can go up 30+ earlier in the game and sub in your backups. This is what we did for many many years before clock changes shortened games even further

@clark______ @AthletesInSpace If I have the talent advantage (which Ohio State does over 90% of the Big 10), why would I want to drag out games in a long season? That doesn’t make sense. Why risk injuries when I can keep everybody fresh?

@WashedReceiver @AthletesInSpace It’s for sure a big issue. When you have the talent advantage you want the game to be longer with more possessions. Not shorter with less. Shorter games = higher level of variance

Patriots HC Mike Vrabel says he loves RB TreVeyon Henderson. "I want them to be able to express what they believe in their heart and in their mind, but also want to make sure that they're educated, and we want to be inclusive. We want to provide an environment for people to feel comfortable, but also to share their personal beliefs. And then also, we represent the team, and we represent the organization."
