The Pope, like the other 8.3 billion of us, has a right to comment on any matter he chooses, but he should confine his comments to matters of theology. His attack on Elon Musk is particularly inappropriate.

It is true that some of the SA Refugees in blue states are facing challenges, mainly because their case workers are negative towards them and making their lives difficult sometimes.
An easy solution would be not to send them to blue states... 🤔

People that struggle to adapt become dependent on handouts. We can't have that, we shouldn't contribute to the problems here.

STUBB: I think, at the end of the day, United States will find themselves in quite a lonely place.
I'm most pro-American president in Europe. I'm avid transatlanticist. I want relationship to work.
But I also fully realize that, with certain patterns of behavior, there's going to be a feeling of, "Okay, if you treat me like that, I don't feel very good about it."
We can see that with European states, Gulf states and many others. I hope that it's in interest of United States to have close friends and allies, if it wants to continue to be one of the world's hegemons.

EU leaders gathered in Paris to discuss the Strait of Hormuz, its blockade and how to reopen it.
Unknown to them, Iran had already surrendered the Strait to Trump and declared it open.
EU leaders were still in the meeting issuing statements and affirmation, when the news reached them that the Strait of Hormuz has been opened.
This is just a typical example of people being irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
And Trump just called them useless. 🤣
It is really unfortunate that Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait were better allies to the US than the UK and France.

Under international law, transit through waterways like the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and free of charge. This is what leaders made clear in their call on reopening the Strait today. Any pay-for-passage scheme will set a dangerous precedent for global maritime routes. Iran has to abandon any plan to levy transit fees. Europe will play its part in restoring the free flow of energy and trade, once a ceasefire takes hold. The EU’s Aspides naval mission is already operating in the Red Sea and can be quickly strengthened to protect shipping across the region. This could be the fastest way to provide support.
