UPDATE Yesterday, the President-elect, H.E. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu, virtually met with some of the newly elected NUP leaders,Members of Parliament, Mayors, and District Chairpersons,during a retreat at One Love Beach, Busabala. He congratulated them on their victories while also reminded them of the many others who were duly elected but unjustly denied their wins through widespread electoral malpractice. He urged them to remain committed to the shared goal of liberating the nation from dictatorship, to stay united, and to resist the pressures and temptations that often come with leadership under such conditions.
