@LordChester33 @HawksInsiders Just signs he belongs. It doesn’t need to be much, it’s often hard as a key forward coming into a different set up. How are his leading patterns? Can he get his hands on the ball? Does he work his defender over? How’s his ball use by foot? That sort of thing.

I’ve been a big Will McCabe believer since day one. A slower burn than draft mate Nick Watson, but another serious talent. Athletic, smoother mover who can use the ball well when played as a high half forward target. Excited to see what he can do. @HawksInsiders

@kmansell33 @HawksInsiders He was. Actually as a junior he played forward, back and wing. He’s a very fluid athlete, not so explosive. Think Scrimshaw and not Weddle.

@NatMartin30 I’ve landed here too, and very happy for him if it eventuates. He’s a very different player to Chol, he’s more of a tall sized small in a lot of ways, but still a serious talent in my opinion.

Got an ever increasing vibe (no inside info, just gut feel) that Will McCabe will debut this week. Reward for effort on the list, and we probably do need to have a look at him at AFL level at some point. Can afford to be patient with Schu and Dear could use another week at BH
