@NormOrnstein Never met Howard but a huge fan of his work. He was a great communicator.

Howard was one of my dearest friends; the family has really been a part of our family. It was amazing to watch Howard go through this ordeal with courage and fortitude for two years; brutal treatment followed by the news that the Whipple surgery would not work. Doctors gave him weeks, he lasted another year, and he and Amy had some wonderful times before it turned into the terrible relapse over the past couple of months. A great journalist, a better human being and a wonderful friend. May his memory be a blessing.
