@GregoryMarksNY Thanks for checking in @GregoryMarksNY. Ugh - it's more than just our gun laws that are broken. Our biases, bullying, turning a blind eye to hate are a part of it. Oh so much is broken. But indeed, allowing civilian assault weapons is the icing on the insanity.

And PS: it’s un American to make people scroll through a list of those killed in a mass shooting to make sure their friends are all safe. Relieved to see @danielapapi is safe but we are far beyond enough. Thoughts, prayers, and meaningful action for all of the victims.

Enough is enough - I ran with the support of @MomsDemand and @NYAGV1 because I believe our gun violence prevention laws are woefully inadequate. How many more mass shootings before we finally ban all assault style weapons and high capacity magazines?

The ones who knew they didn't want to be "a founder", the ones who knew the problems were really complex and didn't want to pitch an idea without first learning more, the ones who just wanted to learn more about systems or a certain issue.
