Texas Department of Transportation Executive Director after sitting in the production version of @Tesla’s Cybercab: "The complete absence of traditional driver controls underscores a significant shift in mobility and vehicle design. No steering wheel, no accelerator, no brake. Only a single touch-screen monitor. Tesla is now operating Robotaxis (using Model Ys) around Austin, Dallas and Houston in Full Self Driving mode. The introduction of the Cybercab will dramitically scale these operations over the coming months."

NeurIPS 2025: Dataset Distillation for Pre-Trained Self-Supervised Vision Models
Instead of training from scratch, this work distills synthetic datasets optimized for models like DINO and CLIP. The distilled data can even outperform real images and transfers surprisingly well across different backbones.
