@SophiePrestonHa Hi Sophie . The 8am rush was binned by my Doctors 2 years ago . They use a online triage, and they ring or text you back same day with a appointment . I don't understand why all doctors don't use that system .

’ve been trying for nearly three weeks to get a doctor’s appointment and, like many people, I’m finding it virtually impossible. The 8am rush for appointments simply isn’t working. Patients shouldn’t have to spend their mornings repeatedly calling just to get through, especially when they’re worried about their health. My local surgery has even closed its books to new patients. I didn’t even know that was allowed. Surely there has to be a better system. More doctors, better use of technology, improved triage, and an end to the daily 8am scramble would be a good start. What would you do to fix it?
