@ListerLawrence Along with a few other chaps, I built the first prototype of the traction battery in that. Here’s a very early prototype that we built in WAE at Williams F1. Quite impressive volumetric density in comparison, bearing in mind this was 8 years ago.
My Dad has entered a whole new era. Admittedly it’s a courtesy car but he actually is really enjoying the hybrid! 70 miles of electric does seem to be the best of all worlds, without any range anxiety!

@agilepredict@stiplady Sorry think we are at cross purposes. Is this an add in of some sort or did you create the code yourself. Talk to me as if I'm a dummy!🤣 As I am with anything coding.
@stiplady@deadphill I just use one source - Nord 60min auction which settles at 10am. Nothing complex about it, I just realised that it seems to have a closer link to the final EPEX 30-min results 👍🏻
@deadphill Oh, there is a nice view, but it's built into my home assistant installation, and not for public view, I'm not taking the bandwidth on that if it got popular. AgilePredict's are usually a little more accurate because they base theirs on 2 sources, not just the 10am Nordpoll I use
@stiplady@agilepredict Thanks for the reply. So you edited a nice view instead of typing it?!
Just wondering if you had your own dashboard somewhere you might like to share thats all!
@androofrench A great man once said Make sure your footsteps are left behind for others to follow. If people come along and beat it, that is great, but leave your mark behind by what you achieve and how you achieve it. I think you have more than done that to whomever your successor is.
@androofrench All the best Andrew. Clearly health before wealth, and there's no point driving yourself into ill health to continue to provide such great journalism.
@NeedsMustBeFed@DaleVince@GeorgeMonbiot Id hazard a guess that if you create methane (gas) from anaerobic digestion of grass, that the grass you grow to feed it takes in CO2 and then releases it when you burn the gas, the CO2 gets absorbed by the grass you grow to produce gas and so on and so fourth. so its net 0.
“It’s shame that has stopped me writing about it before. The shame of failing to think for myself and see the bigger picture, which is more or less my job description. Instead, I followed the crowd.” - @GeorgeMonbiot on fitting his house with three wood-burning stoves.
