Day 130 of #theOdinProject - Back to #React! Took a ~2.5 mo break to start up a small web dev business. Now I'll be continuing TOP in small chunks each day. Currently learning React Routing after completing my Memory Card project. eascodes.github.io/memory-card/

This week @eascodes and I talk about what we have been doing with the web design and development business we have formed! It's taken up almost all of our time this past month, but we have learned a ton and look forward to getting started!!! youtu.be/i-C7Z2HbmZw

For the past month, @eascodes and I have been taking time to start up a web design and development company we will probably chat on it soon on YT, but I wanted to share something I have learned in forming our business: the diff in being an employee vs an independent contractor

Before diving into #theOdinProject CV app, I'm exploring one of the additional recommended resources - the @scrimba React course. I love it!!! Highly recommend if you are new to #ReactJS

@TheOdinProject I recently finished the CS section and was wondering if those topics would be covered later in the curriculum. Thanks for the update!

@haileyjocodes You don’t even need to type div - just type .hero (Emmet just assumes that you’re making a div)

Tip of the day! One of my favorite shortcuts! Add a class to your html element without typing it all out and/or having to navigate your cursor between the double quotes. Ex: to get <div class=“hero”></div> Type: div.hero (tab)

This morning I made the navBar for the dashboard actually show what the current page is.
