I was reading about this thing called the Zeigarnik effect because I randomly saw several videos and shorts related to it over the last few months, but when I looked into it - the effect is unproven. It’s not the Zeigarnik effect, but something else.

@BrandonLuuMD One of the reasons I started using twitter my high school AP psych class. It was an optional extra credit thing our teacher was doing and it was fun. My old account still exists, and it’s amusing to look back on sometimes

Twitter/X is an awesome platform for learning when it’s used well. It lowers the barrier to ask questions, get feedback, and keep learning going beyond class. In a semester-long study, students using it for class discussion showed greater engagement gains and higher GPAs.
