A few months ago, Morara Kebaso called me and asked to meet. At first, I declined because I did not want to be associated with him. He insisted, and out of respect, I agreed to meet him in private and listen to what he had to say. During our meeting, he insisted on taking photos with me. I clearly told him not to post them without my permission but he went ahead and did so anyway.That was when I realized he was a government project. In fact, Morara is armed, and we all know the government does not issue firearm licences to its critics easily. If anyone has been following me on Instagram or X, you may have noticed that I deleted the photo we took a long time ago. The first red flag was when he told me not to vie in Kikuyu because of what he termed as “interest.” Later, he tried to recruit me to become a government blogger and support his cause. I walked out, chose never to speak about it publicly, and from that day, we never met again. Morara Kebaso is a failed government project who has now become just a mere blogger, desperately seeking relevance by any means. He even planted a tracker in his own vehicle for clout. Recently, I saw a post where he referred to us F.B.I as a militia. He knows very well that we are not. We are a civic movement, and one of our aims is to document past injustices to ensure accountability and justice in the future. Our mission is also to teach the police to uphold the rule of law rather than serve political agendas. If you are a young person, avoid meeting Morara at all costs. Morara is a conman.
