This was a very enjoyable read. Big admirer of Monty Don's style. For about five or six years, I emailed him once or twice a year to see if I could interview him about his sense of dress, but never with success. To me, he's a great example of developing personal style.

When Mum and Dad passed away last year, I found this letter in their bedroom. I’m pretty sure it kick-started their 60 year relationship - Mum was clearly besotted.

@dieworkwear In all seriousness, do you have a city in mind? I get what you’re saying – I lived in walkable cities until I discovered the country and now I’m old and I wanna go back to a walkable city, but I can’t afford it.
