this week marked the end of my time working for @StellarOrg (at least for now). while I'm super excited for what's coming next, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the absolutely wonderful experiences I had. I don't think I could ever capture all of them, but I'm going to try! the Stellar network is a place where crypto actually comes to life. the tech can be used for real applications. through the magic of knowing @JPh3lps and his crazy connections in the nonprofit world, we were able to support: - putting in a payments system in a refugee shelter in Mexico City to send money directly to migrants - funding a pilot project for @HopeforHaiti through the use of @KuraPayments that allows mothers to receive funds for food and healthcare - working with @hoopssagrado to redo payment systems and a court in Guatemala to encourage and empower play (through basketball) in indigenous communities, powered by @BeansApp - go watch the doc on that in my pinned tweet along the way, I got to take part in some really cool and fun stuff to get crypto out into the world as well, including: - presenting at universities and discussing blockchain directly with students with @PaltaLabs - putting LABUBUS ONCHAIN as part of @FWBtweets FEST with @smartmerchai, which included an onchain lottery built by the wonderful @ElliotFriend - seeing a media partnership with @BoysClubWorld come to life - making people buy coffee at Meridian through USDC on Stellar! another @BeansApp collab - watching as @refraction_irl built a really cool events app on the network that we actually used at Stellar House Miami and will continue to be used at events across the world! - curating the first ever NFT collection at Meridian, featuring WONDERFUL art and organized by @ReachROCKIN and the @BRAINFROGXLM community - partnering with @myosin_xyz to make marketing meaningful for all of the super dope projects on the network and throwing some kick ass events the amount of wonderful, warm people in the Stellar community is unmatched - and I will be screaming that forever. it was a joy to build, create, and interact with these folks through many channels. I can't tag everyone because that would take forever, but I especially want to shoutout @Rawritude, @iamjayrome, and @TeagueOnChain (pictured holding his shawarma like a newborn), who were the best boys a girl could ask for, @kimfornya for helping me spread my wings, and @StellarEmir for being a relentless champion. and as a final gift to those of you who read this far, it was me who was "the intern" for @BuildOnStellar 😜 shoutout to the community for interacting with me at my sassiest, whether they knew it or not!

The `rescue` function in @defindex_ vaults was built for moments like this: unwind positions from an unwanted/risky strategy, protect users’ funds, and restore service. Also worth noting: `rebalance` can only allocate funds to strategies that were pre-defined in the vault. In this case, everything was reallocated to the DeFindex’s `usdc_blend_autocompound_fixed_strategy` (and eurc_ in case of EURC), which uses the Blend Fixed Pool (high-liquidity assets).
