@clairebubblepop People stopped going to church. Sunday trading laws got relaxed. People started to shop and work on a Sunday. The erosion moved into the household…and here we are…

Said this before but I’ll say it again. Just one lifetime ago in the UK, our fathers could buy a home, buy a car, have 3 to 4 children, wives could stay home, take annual vacations, and then retire… all on one middle-class salary. What happened?

@experiment54 @ProtonMail Did you activate notifications in your PROTON MAIL⁉️ Most likely iOS reads the notifications, which aren't encrypted and which are being stored for at least 30 days, being freely accessible for all kind of Apps

If you’re worried about social media and your kid, get your kid a flip phone. This is not about safety. It’s about censorship and putting the British government in charge of how the Internet is designed and used.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

I know parents are worried about social media and its impact on their children’s safety. They rightly expect fast action. Today, I’m calling on senior leaders from X, Meta, Snap, YouTube and TikTok to step up. I will do whatever it takes to keep children safe online.

An ambitious person will not remain on £25k for years. Not one ambitious person would. But not everyone has to be ambitious and that’s ok.
CrypToBeSquare@cryp_be

@linmeitalks You honestly believe lack of ambition is to blame for this country’s low wages?

@linmeitalks Then those people will spend less in the community as their disposable household income has gone down. So businesses suffer. It’s not an easy equation to solve.

Many people were given social housing when they NEEDED it. Many of those people are now on £70-150k jobs paying £600 in tent for a two bed flat in elephant and castle 😂 I’ve said this multiple times - social housing should be attached to HMRC or there should be regular audits on how much a household earns - if you are over a certain threshold regarding salary, you should give your council house back for someone who really needs it…. But this may lead to less productivity and ambition as people would rather stay in central London or a city on subsidised rent🤷🏽‍♀️
Bazarito@BazaritoDorito

@linmeitalks If you're a couple bringing in £70k you shouldn't be in social housing

THIS IS WHAT WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! RFK announced that in July the following peptides will be reviewed again and likely be allowed to be legally prescribed. Including several of my favorites: BPC-157 - super healer TB-500 - ligaments/tendon healer GHK-Cu - skin, hair MOTS-c - mitochondrial optimizer skeletal Epithalon - brain/longevity reset DSIP - deep sleep Dihexa - brain optimizer, ⬇️ neuroinflam Ibutamoren - oral growth hormone Melanontan II - tanning, immune, sexual KPV - anti-inflammatory Semax - stroke, brain recovery, LL-37 - fights virus, mold, Lyme, immune I’ve been prescribing 10 (of 12) of these regularly since 2020. There’s so many uses for these, and when used properly, they are VERY safe. Really good stacking protocols. Likely by the late summer millions of Americans will have save access to these peptides through compounding pharmacies. AMAZING NEWS‼️ 👏🏼
Secretary Kennedy@SecKennedy

Today, we took long-overdue action to restore science, accountability, and the rule of law. In September 2023, the Biden FDA pushed a number of peptides into Category 2 — “Bulk Drug Substances that Raise Significant Safety Risks” — driving a dangerous black market that puts Americans at risk. Now, after nominators withdrew 12 peptides, the FDA will remove them from Category 2 and will bring them to PCAC at its next two meetings, beginning in July—where independent experts will rigorously evaluate each substance on its scientific merits using full clinical, pharmacological, and safety evidence. • BPC-157 • Thymosin beta-4 fragment (LKKTETQ) • Epitalon • GHK-Cu (injectable) • MOTS-c • DSIP (Emideltide) • Dihexa Acetate • Ibutamoren Mesylate • Melanotan II • KPV • Semax (heptapeptide) • Cathelicidin LL-37 This action begins to restore regulated access and will immediately begin shifting demand away from the black market. We will follow the science, enforce the law, and deliver the clarity patients, providers, and pharmacies deserve.

28 days of annual leave. Out of 365. Your employer owns 337 days of your year. You get 28. And half of those you spend recovering from the other 337. How is this the "good deal" everyone told you to be grateful for?

@linmeitalks I would love to earn £35k! I used to earn more many years ago, but now, trying to get any job is impossible as employers/recruiters don't reply at all to applications, so I'm getting nothing. We live fine on my hubby's £30k salary, small mortgage, 2 cars. £35k is a good wage

Do I live in a bubble ?? How is £35,000 in 2026 a GOOD salary? Is this a mindset thing? Are Brits living on happy shopper beans on toast, living in a single room? Or they must be living at home/ minimal bills. Do they not want more for themselves ?? Ambition and the desire to want a decent life is at an all time low in the U.K. 😟

Your £40,000 financed BMW gets you to the same Tesco as my £3,000 Audi. Mine cost me £3,000. It’s bulletproof. Yours will cost you £100,000’s in lost compound returns. But yours looks better on the school run so you can impress people you A, don’t care about and B, don’t care about you.
