The global fallout only increases the pressure on us, not Iran: Beyond the oil and gas crisis, the blockade is now triggering a global fertilizer shortage that will cause major food security crises and potential famines in vulnerable regions. The smarter path is clear: withdraw, declare victory, and use sanctions relief as our negotiating leverage with Iran. This resets the talks on our terms, avoids war, and prevents further escalation of the energy crisis at home and abroad.

I have now been accosted by two Republican members of Congress for trying to remove pesticide liability protections. Both of which claim to be “God-fearing” Christians, but are shilling for cancer causing pesticide companies. Yikes. One even claims to be pro-life, but is cool with pesticides killing kids.

I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S… How is it possible @RobertKennedyJr that the Italian food supply is so vastly superior. I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S. Not once did I have acid reflux. Not one headache, no digestive problems, and I didn’t gain any weight. If I ate the same way in the U.S. (I used to at times) I would have gone through a full bottle of Tums and Advil just to get through the day… WHY does the U.S. allow glyphosate in wheat, high fructose corn syrup in food and who knows what in our milk products? The difference in quality of life in Italy vs the U.S. is staggering from their common sense (anti corporate) food regulation. WHY aren’t more people upset about this? The U.S. is the richest country in the world and we eat like one of the poorest.

Earn it? Taxed. Spend it? Taxed. Save it? Taxed. Invest it? Taxed. Build it? Taxed. Sell it? Taxed. Live in it? Taxed. Drive it? Taxed. Eat it? Taxed. Drink it? Taxed. Smoke it? Taxed. Give it away? Taxed. Die? Still taxed. And what do they do with it? Waste it. This has to stop - our money & our future are being taxed into oblivion.

UPDATE: Paige Ostroushko and her boyfriend are now trying to raise $12,000 off of Paige assaulting me. Paige and her boyfriend, have created a GoFundMe stating that Paige is a “rape survivor” and that the reason she assaulted me is because I laughed at, “a statement…made about rape in ICE detention centers”. Not only is this allegation that I laughed about the topic of rape an egregious LIE, but it was Paige’s mother Deyanna who came up to me and, WITHOUT REASON, began screaming in my face that I “don’t give a shit” about women and children who are sexually assaulted. I immediately clarified to Deyanna that it is my concern for women and children that led to my passion in covering the border crisis for the last 6 years. Chris, Paige and Deyanna Ostroushko have been on a press tour and have utilized their social media accounts to lie about and defame me for the last two weeks and this is just another example of how shameless they are. Btw, super interesting how Paige, who has been VERY vocal on social media since the attack, hasn’t mentioned the above reasoning ONCE, despite posting various responses since.
