An interesting little vid of Gold Coast mayor, Tom Tate and his visit to TRump’s Mar-a-Lago.. Yes, Tom Tate is a tangerine turdine fan.. which is not really surprising. Considering the news of a TRump tower on the Gold Coast, maybe Tate is looking for some opportunities to come his way, despite the fact that the details on the tower build are as murky as the bog of eternal stench. Tate says that his visit to Mar-a-Lago “wasn’t ratepayer funded”.. .. but wait.. He says “SOME parts of the trip he paid”.. .. and some parts were in his capacity “as an invitation to mayor of this city”.. .. “by the Trump organisation” “as a gift to the city” Right 🙄😵‍💫 When asked if he would declare this magnanimous “gift” in his expenses, Tate did not answer in the affirmative - and instead deferred to a somewhat discombobulated ramble about it “being a gift to the city” within his title of mayor…and not a gift to Tom Tate himself. I’m not sure how he intends to make that shyte fly into credibility- but he’s convinced himself. It will interesting to see if anything turns up in his declarations. As an aside, Tate is not very good at disguising his body language. It is indeed a massive tell.
