If they believe he will be ready to be a 2C next season, I think the focus will likely be to find a winger to play with Demidov, and eventually, Hage.

Michael Hage is going to be even more well surrounded next season. Everyone but the senior class is expected back with some additional potential big names joining this summer. The Canadiens could have a plug and play top-6 C by next spring, but didn't feel they did now.

I just want to point this out. Michael Hage suffered a high ankle sprain in the Big Ten Finals a few weeks back. He missed the opening championship game against Bentley and likely shouldn't have played vs Minnesota Duluth. He forced his way in that game, even as a 13th F.

Received confirmation earlier this afternoon, but wanted to be fair to process. This is a big decision for Michael to circle back. Habs fans will be frustrated, but Hage will be plug and play for MTL next yr after more seasoning . Expect big things from Michigan next season.

While mulling over the options for next season, hearing a return to Michigan remains a possibility for Michael Hage. That being said, it wouldn't be due to any potential knock on relationship with MTL. But both sides weighing the opportunity/developmental curve for the player.

@ryangerritsen The cost of education is highly subsidized in Canada and I would raise the prices. If you stay employed in Canada, a tax credit for the full cost can be spread over 8 years or so as an incentive to stay. His idea is essentially a prison.

The Liberal party has Patrick Pichette a former Senior VP of Google on stage who lives in Europe by the way, say that if Canadians want to leave Canada to work in the US they need to pay an exit tax of half a million dollars. The guy did the very thing to get a Microsoft job decades ago and paid 30 bucks. Now he wants young Canadians to be trapped here. The Liberals are nuts.
