@SarAllyce You are not just draining off fat. Drain off the “fat” to a glass bowl. Let it cool. The majority of that “fat” in the bowl will be gelatin. The collagen is protein and wonderful for joints and tendons. Best off getting lean meat and not draining a thing.

Such an easy diet hack that many overlook: check the nutrition facts of beef/cuts of meat & Opt for lean cuts of meat!!
>1 lb of 80/20 ground beef: 1120 cals
>1 lb of 93/7 ground beef: 680 cals
Not all meats are created equal. This difference could make or break ur weight loss goals.

80/20 ground beef is a fat source, not a protein source. Almost 90g of fat per pound. 70% of calories from fat. If you're confused why eggs, butter and beef are making you fat, its the fat. Switch to 93/7. You simply don't need that much fat.

Even if you measure the weight, I don't think those people are accounting for the way they cook it. Some people cook their protein so much that there is more water evaporation, thus making the food weigh less. They think they got rid of all the grease when in reality, it could have been the water. It is way too many variables/a waste of time for the average person.

@SarAllyce To be honest I think the price point disuades me from buying lean, it's like $3-$4 more /lb for 93/7 than 80/20. But I'd like to see someone actually measure how much weight is lost with all the grease that cooks out of 80/20 compared to 93/7

The people in the replies saying u can’t get fat from fat sources & that u can just drain the grease off are r*tarded lol all u have to do is think about this for 2 seconds to realize that doesn’t work or make sense. Saving calories on cuts of meat makes a huge difference for ur physique goals

🚨 the taurine pushers DID NOT lie: if you have period cramps, take TAURINE!! I have been taking 1000mg of taurine everyday for the last 2 months and this is the first time I’ve actually felt NO discomfort in my cycle. The other stuff I’ve been doing (progesterone, healthy eating, magnesium) helps but it isn’t 100% removed and I need to avoid people because I cba.🚨
