if i had a nickel everytime my favorite character in a cartoon was officially part of the main team but always gets excluded by fans and by the writers in artworks and in general, i'd have two nickels.. which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice

I wish people would stop putting these 2 against each other. They both did a lot of good. They both made mistakes. They are both flawed. They were both the Avatar for an era. They can both be great. You can like both of them. I’m so tired of the Aang vs. Korra debate

@sid_plme @Tyler299791518 yes my apologies! a source told me it was official art shown in 2012, but i did some research and it is just fan art! but the models used of team avatar are canon/inspired by how they look like in their late 30's in the book "avatar: legacy"

@greenvelvetroxy @Tyler299791518 Yes! The creators did state it at Comicon about Suki & sokka when they were responding to Q&A questions in 2012 right before TLOK came out - but again their statement didn’t have much to do w the artwork😅

suki and the kyoshi warriors/and the gaang circa 124 AG. as stated in comic con 2012, suki and sokka are still together and live happily in the suburbs of republic city. sadly they never had any children together

@Tyler299791518 @sid_plme yeah they didn't show art in 2012 and only talked abt the gaang, but the fanart is still inspired by the canon looks of the gaang we see in their late 30's

@MichSkywalkeer which is fanservice lol, they see sokka and toph getting shipped together and went for it but it makes no sense💀 it was confirmed suki and sokka lived together in their late 30's

@greenvelvetroxy SPOLERS So I already watched the movie and Suki was left out. However, she appeared at the end in a few credit scenes, but there's an specific one where Sokka and Toph are dancing and Suki is there but...away? Idk I think they're trying to say they're not together anymore.

@sid_plme @greenvelvetroxy These are literally the same arts they showed in a 2012 comic con. If you believe their fan art(it’s not) then that’s your choice. They re-released them back in December I guess to remind the fans that didn’t know Sokka and Suki were confirmed and canon married and dont have kids
