@HorrorPaperback I'm ambivalent about the remake but loads of people love it and that's good.

@grumpyandrew I like the remake, too, but the abstract nature of the original gives it so much more power.

@grumpyandrew It is probably intentionally ambiguous, but I have noticed one newish publisher taking open submissions is a bit cagey as to whether they use AI in their initial submissions reading.

Everyone has their own red lines, but I'd think more than twice about buying a book that uses AI generated promo, even if the book and cover are 100% human creations.
