While mainstream audiences would agree with this assessment, the core Halloween (and dedicated horror audience) would be in strong opposition to it. Important to note that JLC only came back for H20 because she pitched the idea. The DGG trilogy was an effort to “reboot after the reboot” & was always intended to move past JLC. The diehard Halloween fandom is almost equally as loyal to Danielle Harris, which is evident by her convention appearances, fan petitions etc. It’s a massive testament to the strength of H4, which at this point is almost universally recognized as a Top 3 entry in the series. Halloween, if anything, laid the groundwork for how a franchise can be successful without its original protagonist while still pivoting back to them periodically.

Bloodsucking Pharohs in Pittsburgh (1991) this is one of my favorite horror comedies ever... and it just seems to be fading away. Tom Savini did the over the top gore and effects. This is B-Movie golden cheese.

I'm rewatching From Dusk Till Dawn 2, and if you took a shot every time the director put the camera somewhere really weird you'd be dead before the film ended.

Sadako Yamamura Created by late author Koji Suzuki who just passed way Sadako canonically is intersex. This was written in 1991 in Japan. Read the novels! Ring, Spiral, Loop, Birthday, Sadako aka S, and finally Tides!

@thevloglady I'm sure he's in good shape but he was slowing way down on the stunts during the first Rush Hour movie.

Jackie Chan is 72. I'm not sure Rush Hour 4 would feel like anything but elder abuse at this stage. The man's done enough.
