Yes yuji had todo's help, that still doesn't mean he isnt getting bodied by grade 1's. He has no feats against actual top tiers and every person he fought and was competitive with was a grade 1

@dollzls I theorize that before kunishige made the eternal contracts the blade wielders could use their enchanted blades and innate sorcery together. But that's only if kunishe after making magatsumi designed the contracts and not one by one with shinuchi having the final piece

Yuji used sukuna as a blueprint as to how shrine could be used and eventually with decades under his belt surpassed him. He had it longer after all
