They took out the Eado bike racks outside Rodeo Goat.
As if riding the ripped-up Austin St bikeway to the Polk St bikeway (sidewalk next to construction) the disappearing Eado district wasnโt enough of a bummer. @BikeHouston bikers be warned

@SpaceJosh Very likely a counter weight for resistance exercise equipment. Astronauts are required to train almost everyday, and without gravity we need counterweights like these to let the crew flex those muscles!

As an occasional aerospace mass properties engineer, I really want to know the backstory behind this counterweight. Why is it on ISS? Why is it one piece? Does the person analyzing end of life reentry breakup know thereโs an 800 lb block of tungsten on board?!
