As the #Iditarod red lantern was extinguished early this morning, so to has the 2024 #igivearod campaign come to a close. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $30,398 with $15,607 of that raised for rural schools around Alaska. And beautiful hats knitted! You ROCK! #uglydogs

Less than 24 hours for all the mushers into Nome!

As we’re awaiting the safe arrival of Anna Berington into Nome, carrying the ashes of @mrlent down the trail, you all have raised over $1,000 in Daniel Lent’s honor for the August Foundation to support veterinary care and homes for retiring sled dogs

Some lovely, creative people also started #iknitarod to knit and donate hats and scarves for kids that participate in @SkikuAk programs.
