@JessicaCalarco No Boy Scout trip run by Tim Walz would be the disaster that the Bear Cubs had to fix.

@BlairBraverman @QuinceMountain Teenagers are the same across species.

@JessicaTaylor It’s never too late! My son coaches a woman who took it up in her 70s, and she’s fierce!

@DrBritWilliams @CoraCHarrington Church rummage sales!

Not even a theory. It’s very correct. Case in point: slips.
Mary@MaryJackalope
I have a theory that people have simply forgotten why “old fashioned” things like undershirts, and (not in the winter) hats, gloves and scarves are actually USEFUL. It seems so strange that the whimsy of the trends could overcome the practicality
English

@sofialmallo @DrBritWilliams @CoraCHarrington They also allow you to get more wearings out of a dress before it needs to be cleaned, since the slip is between the dress and your skin.
English

@DrBritWilliams @CoraCHarrington I know google exists please don’t send me to that AI hellhole, but could you please explain the use of them? Is it the same as in undershirts but for dresses? Should I be getting into this?
English

@BlairBraverman This makes me so happy!!! Yay for Wicksy and Jeems!!

@FarFarrAway Philly’s transit etiquette is miles above Boston. Every time I’m there I’m shocked at the fact that they don’t wait for you to get off the train before they try to get on.

@UrbaniteAlaska @mackaracka Beautiful and graceful.

@BlairBraverman “Two kids and a baby” is surgically savage and 100% correct.

@MrsA2003 @MaryVarshini108 @BlairBraverman Oh Kat, exactly this. Blair has taught me to not just look for, but to *see* the goodness in other people, and to find and spread joy. Happy Birthday, @BlairBraverman!

@AllyTaft “Base model” was the most subtle but lethal dig I’ve heard in a while 💀
English

Most insufferable man I matched with on Hinge was a middle-aged CRE guy.
Asked him to let me know the make and model of his car so I could have a guest parking pass preemptively printed for him. (We were meeting at my place and walking to a spot in midtown for drinks.)
He says, "you'll know it when you see it."
Already annoying as that doesn't help at all. My concierge cannot print a pass with this information.
Guy proceeds to show up in a base model Porsche with vanity tags.
I cancelled the date.

@YarpFish @JaneCaseyAuthor As soon as we saw the mother & son, I turned to my husband and said “she looks FUN!”
English

@JaneCaseyAuthor I was struck by these two. The mother’s stare was so strike we kept going to back and look at her. And the second one is just *so fun*
