Everyone watched Gyökeres for 2yrs at Sporting. We knew the type of striker he was. He thrives in transition. You play to his strength. The Arsenal hierarchy scouted him. It’s a failure on their part. If you wanted a “technical” striker, Isak or Ekitike were there to be signed.

Agree Gyokeres has a lot to do technically, but look at the quality of football we play, how many chances does he get per match? What does our attacking midfielder do? Madueke and Martinelli? How is the person with the most goals getting the most smoke from fans?

@c_mobike Europe has a developed grassroots system but not all players pass through that system. They also have a street football culture. The academy system focuses more on players technique and tactical discipline. It’s not like they go to the academy to learn 1v1.

Both are only good at doing their primary final action which is shoot and block a shot respectively but very bad at everything else.

Our fanbase is actually very funny. Olivier Giroud had one of the best linkup plays we've ever seen from a forward at the Emirates and he wins duels for fun. He's better than Havertz in all of these things and guess what? He was being ripped apart on a weekly basis for missing big chances for us.
Now you're praising Kai for doing the same thing you all criticized Giroud for, and he was even putting up better numbers compared to Kai. The hypocrisy stinks.
