@MikePMoffatt @MapleSyrupLeafs As a Leafs fan, I didn't want him here for what he did to the flames. I said when he was hired this was going to be a disaster Shanahan completely screwed up when he let Dubas go. Dubas wasn't perfect but he always tried to improve the team.

As a Flames fan, I can’t understand how he got a job, in a larger market, no less, after this run of deals.

I’m surprised at the timing but this was inevitable. I liked the Treliving hire but this season, including the offseason, was too much of a mess. Berube is obviously next. Looking forward to the next chapter for the Leafs.

One note from the wknd. Blue Jays wondered if Brendon Little was tipping pitches. They also wanted more four-seamers (which he worked on in spring). John Schneider also said Little: "got away from what he was doing in spring" ... "just didn't use his pitches correctly"
