Let's see how it looks after a couple of months, especially as they get into the summer. So far, it is an encouraging indicator.

I don't put much weight into early-season defensive metrics. That said, the Giants' outfield defense has posted -1 OAA and -1 FRV so far, which is more passable than the extreme weakness it showed last year. It really has not been much of a story at all through 14 games.
