We’re opening up the Plug.Dev Influencer Playbook for Devtools 🤓 Dev Influencers, especially on YouTube, aren’t just about awareness. When you partner the right way, they can drive full-funnel developer marketing: from awareness through to conversion and retention via educational content that transitions to Devtool advocacy. Everyday, the @plugdotdev team works with world class Devtools like Supabase, Clerk, and Snyk to run influencer campaigns. We’ve seen what works, what flops, and what scales. The playbook we've put together breaks down what we’ve learned, and how to grow from one-off campaign hits into compounding programs. Inside includes: • How to scale from one-off campaigns to compounding programs • Which content formats drive full-funnel, from buzz to long-tail education • How influencers teach, build trust, and drive product adoption, not just views The Dev Influencer Playbook: plug.dev/blog/influence… Hit me up with any questions or feedback, happy reading! 👋

My first goal as a 20 y/o entrepreneur is to make $10k a month How do I plan to do it? Well, @mediafa_st made almost $3k in the last 3 months, so I need to scale it. How? Better personal brand, better SEO, some creator collabs My Plum agency made its first $1k sale yesterday, so I need to push it to $2–3k MRR And I am building startups on the side, something will click A year ago this goal felt unreal Now that I make around 30 percent of it, I know I can do it. I just need to trust the process and keep grinding

THE INFLUENCER-EQUITY MODEL something I've been seeing more often in my private chats with builders... Instead of the typical "influencer distribution model", where you: 1. reach out to 100 influencers 2. pay 10 of them for a video 3. 2 of them get millions of views (this is very laborious and sounds miserable to execute on) i've been hearing more builders are partnering with 1 (maybe 2) influencers for equity on the app itself i just got off the phone with a guy who built an app in a quite niche space. and he partnered with one of the biggest influencers in that space for equity. again it's not a huge space. but that influencer now: > promotes the app constantly > helps inform the founders (builders) the right features to build > promotes those features and improvements as the app gets better > and generally has skin in the game to make that app win over the long term i think this is smart and ive seen two apps doing this successfully in the last week. thought it might be useful to share this, hope it's helpful

@junqueror super !! can you tell me more about the "appropriate tag" in "- Set canonical URLs with the appropriate tag to avoid duplicates" maybe an example? that would help a lot

You are setting your home page as canonical for every page on your website. For instance, on your page "/ab_testing_secrets_revealed_optimizing_your_thumbnails_calltoaction_with_smart_text_placement" you're explicitly saying Google not to index this page, but index its canonical one, which is the home page. Same in other pages I checked. -> Fix: Set the page URL in the canonical tag

It's painful tbh: - Check all of them are included in your sitemap.xml and upload it again - Set canonical URLs with the appropriate tag to avoid duplicates - Check pages are served as HTML with content from the server side (You can check it with Postman). You need to make sure meta tags are there without executing JS. - Request individual URL indexing in Google Search Console

@PilotoCripto Community and creating a sense of belonging are key steps in Web3, generating interest and trust for the project. But, it won't pay the bills. Attracting customers and selling your product or service will. We should not compare a mean with a goal.

In Web2 marketing the focus is always a CTA (buy, subscribe, etc...) In Web3 marketing the focus is always to create a sense of belonging. Community is king. We are not the same.

I love the interoperability advantage that blockchain technology provides, allowing different protocols and DApps to share data and interact with each other. However, for some time now, this advantage has been diminished due to the proliferation of various chains and the lack of interoperability among them. I appreciate the approach that Union is taking to address this issue in the blockchain space, aiming to restore interoperability as a key benefit.

For too long, cross chain bridges have been a ticking time bomb, vulnerable to attacks, crippled by slow speeds, and shackled by centralized control. @union_build ZK powered infrastructure eliminates these shortcomings and gives the blockchain ecosystem real security and speed. The Union network is an extremely efficient zero knowledge infrastructure layer for DeFi, NFTs, asset transfers and messaging forwarding. To be able to make communication between different rollups and chains easier, Union uses a connection and channel model. Every channel has a separate protocol that Union supports and the channels support recurrent and straightforward connections because the channels are unbiased. The model for safe bridging and consensus verification are the foundations of Unions underlying security paradigm. ~Three essential elements make up the Union protocol~ ->>  CometBLS. The CometBLS helps in Improving the Tendermint for zk bridging. Its benefits are: • Makes bridging to Ethereum efficient

 • Enables ZK-friendly consensus with faster, cheaper proofs

 • Scales to 1000+ validators via BLS aggregation

->> Galois. Galois provides the ZK Consensus on the Union network. It has benefits like: • High speed: 128 validator proofs in 7s

 • Low-cost: minimal infra cost

 • Decentralized: runs on consumer laptops

 • Censorship-resistant: anyone can prove

->> Voyager. The Voyager is an advanced relayer engine on the Union network. And it has benefits like: • Speed: processes in parallel

 • Data Integrity: state-safe via Postgres

 • Fast Recovery: instant restarts via FSM

 • Handles multi-chain, light clients & failures efficiently

Because L2s and L3s abstract over one another, the Union network also classifies them as supported chains. The Light Clients relay the logic for IB connections, they support chains like Tendermint, Ethereum and custom protocols. They also build on existing infrastructure.  The Modules and plugins provide the network with flexible architecture for scaling and logical handling. The IBC Specification defines bridge semantics in the network. It supports provable storage essentially, it is run under a light client update logic. The L2 Client supports the Ethereum L2 and also verifies L2 state via L1. The BLS functions as the Foundation of CometBLS. Some of its advantages are: Smaller tx size (aggregate sigs), Lower on chain costs, Efficient ZKP verification, Reduced state growth. The Filling Provides destination chain liquidity. It facilitates functions such as: Union typically mints assets and Third parties can also fulfill transfers on their own. Union Protocol is the clear solution in a world where cross chain bridges have been rife with vulnerabilities. Union network offers unmatched security, efficiency, and decentralization..  It builds a whole new foundation for safe, fast, and scalable interoperability.
