I often get messages from solo founders who are stuck with products in the $2-3k/month range and don’t know what to do. They can’t quit because it’s somehow successful but it’s also not enough to pay the bills. They say they tried everything but couldn’t grow any further. But when I ask what "everything" is it always comes down to trying and testing new channels to drive more traffic. The few I’ve seen who managed to get unstuck did something different. They looked at who their best customers were based on LTV, churn, usage, etc. Sent emails with questions and took the time to have real conversations with them. Then they changed the messaging to appeal exclusively to that segment. I admire them because it takes a lot of courage to say no to potential customers but it seems like that's what it takes to break through.
