#यूजीसी पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आज की सुनवाई में अभी फैसला सुरक्षित रखा है। सरकार की दलीलों के विरुद्ध सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि नियम बहुत broad हैं।इनका दुरूपयोग हो सकता है। फिलहाल मुझे लगता है कि अभी फैसला पूर्ववत है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट सरकार की दलीलें से संतुष्ट नहीं है। सरकार के वकील ने कहा था नियम तो सही हैं लेकिन इनको सही से लागू नहीं किया गया है। सरकार के वकील ने कहा कि ये नियम समानता को लेकर और छात्र छात्राओं की सुरक्षा और एससी-एसटी, अल्पसंख्यक भेदभाव से बचाने के लिए बनाये गये हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि “हमें संतुलन बनाना होगा — सुरक्षा भी रहे और दुरुपयोग भी न हो” अभी २०१२ वाले नियम ही लागू रहेंगे। अभी अगली तारीख नहीं दी है। मतलब सीधा और साफ है कि सरकार अपनी ग़लती नही मान रही है।
