🚨 One of Iraq’s most prolific and high-profile Shia terrorist has reportedly arrived in Tehran. Abu Azrael, IRGC-linked militia commander and loyalist to Khamenei and the Islamic Republic, is now in Tehran coordinating with the regime against Iranian unrest and preparing for potential U.S. ground deployment. A former fighter against U.S. forces in 2003, he later rose through Iran-backed militias operating in Iraq and Syria. Famous for videos showing him using swords, axes, and fire on captives. He bragged about “spit-roasting” ISIS fighters, burning bodies, slicing charred corpses “like shawarma,” and his motto “Illa tahin” (“I’ll grind you to dust” / “nothing but flour”). Even his own militia (Kataib al-Imam Ali) disavowed him at one point over a video of him burning a dead fighter. He built his reputation on sectarian violence, with documented involvement in executions, abuse of detainees, destruction of civilian areas, and publicly glorifying the desecration of bodies. PMF units tied to him have been accused by human rights groups of looting, forced displacement, and targeting Sunni communities during operations. The man who fought Americans in Iraq is now in Tehran. It would be poetic and amazing if he is killed in Iran by Americans.

This weekend, an Air Force Colonel, more than likely in their mid to late 40s, ran 5 miles up a mountain to escape the enemy. Running matters. You should do more of it.

Hate Israel all you want but one thing is absolutely, abundantly clear after the rescue of the American pilots and as this war has proceeded: No other ally in the world today actively assists the US as Israel does. They are the truest ally in every sense of the word. NATO won't even let the US fly through their airspace. Israel? They'll put their own pilots in the line of fire to rescue an American. That's allyship.

Details about the rescue op for the U.S. Weapon Systems Officer, via a U.S. military official: "The mountain top area on the left is where the WSO was hiding (he ejected 5ish miles northwest of there). The right area is the makeshift landing strip where they landed 2 C-130s and had 4 MH-6 Little Birds. "One Little Bird flew to that mountain top area and rescued the WSO and brought him back to the landing strip. And of course the two C-130s' nose gears got stuck in the dirt. So after a few hours they had to bring in three AFSOC Dash-8s to fly out the rescued WSO and the 100 or so personnel involved in the op." 1/2

Gisteren hadden we het over de 269 miljard euro (!!!) die Netbeheer Nederland zegt nodig te hebben om tot 2040 het net klaar te stomen voor de 'energietransitie' (lees: om alle zon en wind op het net te krijgen). Die kosten betreffen alleen de aanpassing van de infrastructuur en leveren u nog geen kWh aan stroom op. Nu blijkt dat de productie van de windstroom op zee ook niet zonder het subsidie-infuus kan en daar trekt het kabinet ook weer even 8 miljard voor uit. Ondertussen blijven we in Den Haag gezellig discussiëren over wel of niet wat steun vanwege de hoge benzine- en dieselprijzen. De schatkist ontvangt jaarlijks ongeveer 15 miljard euro via belastingen en accijnzen op fossiele brandstoffen. Hoge prijzen is kassa voor de overheid. U gaat echter het duizendvoudige en meer betalen voor zon, wind en de uitbreidingen van het net. Duizelingwekkende bedragen. 269 miljard euro gedeeld door 8,4 miljoen huishoudens is 32.000 euro per huishouden. Tot 2040. Dat is dus zo'n 2300 euro per jaar. Elk jaar tot aan 2040. En geen praatprogramma heeft het erover...

Nog even terugspoelen naar 10 oktober 2025. Wat waren ook al weer de 10 belangrijkste verkiezingsthema’s? 1. Immigratie - D66: het kan niet 2. Woningbouw - D66: 10 steden =metafoor 3. Waarden en normen - D66: liegen over CV, tegen wil van de kamer in handelen 4. Veiligheid - D66: bosjes snoeien ipv aanpakken criminelen 5. Klimaat - D66: accijnzen niet omlaag. D66 zijn volksverlakkers.
