It's high time Carney quit preaching to the U.S. about our "shared values." Nobody can pin down what values Carney’s championing—gender-inclusive climate competitiveness? That’s not exactly the Canadian dream. And he knows full well Trump doesn’t buy into that nonsense—Trump roasted him to his face while Carney grinned like a kid caught stealing cookies. Focus on a trade deal that actually helps everyday Canadians, Mark, and save the sanctimonious lectures for the Ivy League kids you’ll be boring when you’re no longer Prime Minister.

At the heart of the entire Flynn case is one simple fact, one that much of the public has been misled about. Flynn was accused of lying about discussing sanctions with the Russian ambassador. The problem is that he never discussed sanctions. The entire case was built on a lie, something that was only exposed years later when the transcripts were finally released. That’s the entire case right there. They ruined a man’s life over words he never said.
