@Caolan_Scully I loved propping against lads who were 4/5 inches taller than me. Power advantage was with me. The ability to absorb pressure is with the shorter guy. Our problem here is the hooker has completely lopsided the front row balance. Kelleher far more effective in this area

@neilorpen @Caolan_Scully Watching this again, this is all on Furlong. Both Ryan and Timoney were locked out and studs firmly planted. He just did not get himself set. The lack of scrums he’s engaged in is very telling. Serious scrum sessions needed this week

Locks did nothing to stop front row going up - illegal from Italy for sure but to let this happen to you at international level is poor - Ireland need to face it , they have a lot of work to do as a team if they want to be competitive again - they we destroyed too many times by Italy at scrum time

I hate to be that guy (again) But this is a penalty against Italy for driving up / lifting prop off feet Madness that I’ve seen the wrong decision on this rare motion three times this season
