nyc is not the greatest city in the world. everyone there is using each other for money or validation. the average age someone gets married is 35. everything is so expensive. unmarried 31 year olds are paying 5k for a studio apartment. that sounds like hell

Zohran launched $30/hr snow-shoveling jobs with $45/hr overtime, and Republicans mocked him. Not only were sidewalks completely cleared within a day, but he did exactly what taxes are intended to do: take taxpayer money and invest it in people while producing results that benefit everyone.

I saw a post that said “the cost of being close to someone is friction and that’s the price you pay for intimate relationships and when you are a person that is averse to conflict, you are also averse to intimacy” and I couldn’t agree more. A lot people give up at the first sight of a conflict and I used to be this way until I saw what’s on the other side of conflict resolution.
