@3dmakai I think a lot of people are too focused on wordmaxxing then they struggle to read cause they don't get how anything works properly. I honestly don't blame them I think most grammar textbooks and guides are mostly shit. So you gotta go the extra mile.

@magicrit fair. i was going to suggest ankidroning more but if you're diligent mining words and building a deck to study then it's fine

my opinion is joplets are making it hard on themselves by learning ~2000 words in 2 months and expecting to understand anything at all. you probably need 10k+ vocabulary to grasp sentences without feeling frustrated

just do your anki reps and immerse. you will hit a point where itll feel easier after around 4 months of focus and diligence. Dont be like the 出来損ない in the replies.

i read this whole thing while cross-referencing samurai archives and wikis about edo customs on the fly instead of just having a japanese high school education and it sort of spoilt it for me. in that sense it feels less welcoming than something like asairo even

Omw to the Nobunaga's castle ruins. A Portuguese missionary, Luis Frois highly praised this castle. He wrote that it was the most elegant and splendid structure in Japan at the time, worthy of comparison with the grandest castles in Europe.

Only problem was in the last route I got the bug where the backlog is overflowed from lots of saves and backlog checks. To solve it you have to delete every save and start fresh from the start without saving or checking the backlog. Even with auto skipping took ages lol.
