@netestapper I could be wrong, but I think it’s a Power BI feature, so I don’t think it’s even available in AAS.

Has anyone had any luck creating a new Field Parameter table outside of #PowerBI Desktop? I tried to create one using the same #DAX that Desktop generates in #TabularEditor3 but with no luck.

@TheScree That is exactly how I originally interpreted it. That if my max is 8, up to 8 v-cores could be added in a single 24 hour period, but my interpretation is being challenged. This makes me think my original interpretation was wrong.

@markbdi You have to pick what the "max" v-core's you want to support with Autoscaling. You get charged the scaling cost, PER v-core you want to add in. So 8 x $85 in the example below. Link to configuration guide included: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi…

Need some #PowerBI help! The wording of the docs makes it sound like only a single v-core is added per 24 hour period. Can anyone confirm that? If I have a P1 and its peaked out, auto-scale will add 1 v-core? What if I'm still peaked out? No more v-cores until tomorrow?

I'm interested in engaging in a local #PowerBI User Group, but the group doesn't seem to have been active recently. I even sent a private message to the leader a while back, but haven't received a response yet. Am I better off participating in other user groups? 😂

I think I’m the only one at my company that only uses my laptop monitor for most work. My main client laptop doesn’t even have a second monitor attached. This make me feel better.

Just noticed this in the #PowerBI service! Maybe it's been there a while and I'm late to the game, but holy smokes, batman, this is helpful!

@AgulloBernat You probably already know this, but if you turn scheduled refresh off before publishing, the publish of the pbix doesn't trigger an automatic refresh.

I would really like to publish a pbix file without triggering a refresh. Let me change the parameter value, then I'll take care of the refresh. And no, you cannot cancel an on-demand request

@ecpdata By hidden table, do you mean a query that has "Enable Load" unchecked back in Power Query? These queries show up under Shared Expressions in TE. Tables that actually load into model but are hidden/invisible are shown under tables but slightly grayed out.

Hey #PowerBI experts, how do I edit a hidden table in Tabular Editor that is being used to build a merge query that isn't hidden? Is unhiding in desktop only option?

@alexdupler @TheScree Btw, I am doing this to identify columns that can be deleted from an existing report. Power BI Cleaner etc don't factor in columns used in filter pane. If there is another way to find columns that can be deleted safely, please lmk.

It sure would be nice if you could easily find out which visuals have visual level filters applied in #PowerBI desktop. May be an icon or a table. Is there anything I am missing?

@Haquafresh Do you have a Calculation Group in the model? Those hidden measures/folder typically show up when Calc Groups are present. If you view hidden in the fields pane, you should be able to see them.

More #PowerBI weirdness today... a sneeky bug? Adding a field measure to conditional formatting, it shows a display folder called "Format String Measures". The weirdness is that, that subfolder doesn't exist in my model, some back end metadata sneaking through perhaps?

@CJMajka I think 1:1 relationships always default to bidirectional.

Any reason #PowerBI would default to cross filter both directions on 2 of the relationships? It should be single like the others...
