I never cry uncle, and I'm not gonna cry uncle today." That was 1991. Senate confirmation hearings. Anita Hill allegations. The full weight of the media and the political machine aimed at one man. And he didn't flinch. Not for the seat. Not for the title. But because he refused to let bullies win. 35 years later, Clarence Thomas is still on the Supreme Court. I have never encountered a movement (Transgenderism) that has spread so swiftly and successfully and has so fiercely rejected any challenge to its orthodoxy. I just finished an interview with Brad from Across Nigeria… and honestly, I’m sitting here stunned. Today, he buried 14 Christians in a mass grave. Two were infants. One was a 4-year-old child. And this isn’t some recycled internet story or political talking point. Brad was literally there today helping bury them. While on the way to investigate one attack, another Christian community was attacked. He said the violence is happening so fast they can barely keep up anymore. What shocked me even more is this: Brad shared that 72% of all Christians killed worldwide last year were killed in this region of Nigeria. 72%. And hardly anybody is talking about it. The mainstream media should be all over this. Instead, most people scrolling social media today have no idea our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered while churches are being forced underground. Guys… this matters. Today, words fail us. It’s been a long, hard battle the last few years. In times like this, the sacrifices and the struggles don’t even matter. A few hours ago we received the most earth-shattering news that our 20 year old son, Evan Roberts Locke, could not be revived after his heart stopped due to an overdose. His struggle was very public. It was used as a warning to many, a punchline to the haters but an overall reminder that even in our deepest pain, the grace of Jesus will sustain us. I’ll address the church family with arrangement details this Sunday. Please respect our privacy. He has 5 heartbroken siblings and a world of people that helped him along his journey.
